Global Headquarters Workplace, Seattle

Downtown Seattle, Washington, USA

In downtown Seattle, this three-floor office transformation was shaped around a simple intention: put the human experience first. Designed for a globally connected workforce, the workplace offers a rich mix of settings that support focus, collaboration and community, so people can choose the space that fits how they need to work in the moment.

A workplace inspired by global regionalities

Cureo Architecture + Design created a visual interpretation of the client’s global nature by giving each floor its own regional identity. Materials, patterns, planting and colour were carefully studied to build distinct “senses of place”, from copper tones, cactus and Sarape-inspired patterning for Central and South America, to ferns, sari-influenced motifs and repurposed teak tile for South Asia. While each level feels characterful, a familiar palette connects the experience across the building, bringing coherence to variety.
The overall programme was designed around four complementary space types: high-energy community areas, focused collaboration spaces, team work settings, and high-focus workspaces. Together, they create a menu of options that helps employees shift between social energy and deep concentration, while still feeling connected to the wider culture of the organization.

Paloma

The Boss solution

Boss Design’s Paloma and Ola seating formed a crafted, cohesive thread throughout the project, supporting both the design concept and the day-to-day experience of the people using the space.

Across meeting rooms and collaborative settings, Paloma Meeting brought an inviting presence with a refined footprint, helping the client make the most of room capacity while keeping comfort front and centre. In social hubs and café-style moments, Paloma Barstools extended that same warmth into more informal postures, supporting everything from quick conversations to longer touch-down sessions.

Ola Meeting Chair added versatility across the workplace, bridging formal and informal settings with a calm, contemporary character that sits comfortably alongside Paloma.

Crucially, the Boss portfolio gave Cureo Architecture + Design room to tell the building’s global story through textiles. As each floor introduced its own regional influences, Boss supported a layered upholstery approach, embracing multiple fabrics, pattern and texture so the furniture could carry the narrative without losing a consistent aesthetic across the three levels.

“Boss solutions are quality, craft and high-design all in one package. We were able to customize pieces with unique, performance fabrics, creating a beautiful synergy throughout the design.” Cureo Architecture + Design, Designer

Delivered in collaboration with Kin Reps and Insidesource, Seattle, the result is a workplace that feels considered and welcoming, with seating that is both expressive and enduring. A human-centred headquarters, designed to help people connect, focus and belong.
